Short biography

Dragoș Badea is lecturer at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest– Faculty of Geodesy, with over 20 years of experience of teaching and research in the fields of photogrammetry and remote sensing. His main research interests are in the field of image processing, point clouds processing. He completed a doctorate (PhD) in photogrammetry and he has published several scientific papers. He is vice-president of Romanian Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (srft.ro).

The Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest is one of the leading technically oriented universities in Romania (utcb.ro). Since its founding in 1955, the Faculty of Geodesy is one of the most important technical faculties in Romania. The Land Surveying and Cadaster specialization aims to acquaint the student with the newest and most advanced techniques in the field of geodesy, topography, photogrammetry and remote sensing, as well as in the field of cadaster and real estate evaluation.
