EuroSDR survey on Oblique Aerial Camera Systems - update 2016

15 February 2016

Since some years, oblique imagery is a rediscovered aerial technology, considered one of the major developments in the photogrammetric field and a great source of geo-information complementary to the traditional vertical views. Many oblique multi-camera systems are nowadays available and the market of airborne technology can offer new photogrammetric services.

EuroSDR (http://eurosdr.net/) has been running a research activity on oblique aerial camera systems for the last 2 years which realized:
- a benchmark in conjunction with ISPRS
- a series of publication in the GIM magazine 1_GIM_properties 2_GIM_automatic_building_detection_verification 3_GIM_automated_processing 4_GIM_Report_on_Survey  4_Slides_Report_on_Survey  (and by external authors: 5 6)
- an article at PhoWo 2015
- a scientific workshop

Now we propose a final questionnaire with which we wish to conclude our activity with two main purposes:
- to summarize the potential of oblique camera systems for mapping and modeling purposes
- to collect technical details and information of oblique camera systems and related software

The answering of the questions will only take 5 minutes of your time.

You can reach the updated questionnaire here:

Thanks a lot for your cooperation!
